A very popular choir group, Libera is going to the Phillippines to sing. I can’t go to the Phillippines, but maybe those who are there might try. One catch, could you sing with them, like this?
Fantastic soprano? I daresay it is. I’m not a fan of the Gregorian/polyphonic chant kind of thing, but they’re really so good I can’t help but take notice.
The first line of Gloria:
Gloria in excelsis Deo, et in terra pax hominibus.
(Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to mankind)
Is no doubt reminiscent of the Gloria in the Mass of Roman Catholicism. Perhaps that is the reason why Libera decided to go to the most Catholic country in Asia. Tickets ranging from 500 to 3850 pesos, at the PICC Plenary Hall in Manila. If you’re going, get your ticketsĀ here. Remember, October 25! Or remember, Youtube!

I don’t know what you call that, but it’s choir specialty, especially chant-like choirs like Libera
