You may be a little surprised but I’m very spoilt for choice so much that I don’t really know what to watch. Say lol?
Here’s the thing. As you can see by now, I talk movies and music in this blog, although I very much like to keep a personal feel to it. After all, this is my own blog, not a gossip/movie/music/review blog. And I’d like to watch every movie in the cinema if I could help it, but I simply wouldn’t have the time to do so, plus my expenses would explode if I did so.
But then again, if I don’t watch some movies, I can’t talk about them in my blog can I? So do me a favour please? Recommend me some movies this September. Preferably something you yourself have watched and find interesting, or will watch. If you can’t figure out what movie to recommend, here’s the webpage of the cinema I frequently go to. You can see that the page shows movies that the cinema is soon showing this month. You can also see movies the cinema is currently showing, under the “Now Showing” section.
You can recommend me as many as you like, and I’ll try my best to watch all of them (lol). But one rule of thumb: I HATE horror! Yes, call me a coward, but I don’t watch horror period. And before you call me biased or anything, John Campea of The Movie Blog felt Halloween 2 (which I don’t know will be aired over here or not) was so bad he just said “F*ck this movie”. And this guy watches movies for a living! So not all movies are created equal, and some of the most debased movies are horror. At least, what I think.
So, back to the question, what should I watch? I’ll really watch what you guys recommend me. Serious.

I am! Haha
Well…like you JILO! I wanted to watch all the movies I can if I have the time and if my wife wants to. But too bad, with the current H1N1 situation, I thing it is better to play safe…for now.
Hmmm…about movies…I thing you can try:
1~UP
2~District 9
3~Kungfu cyborg
I have not sure if the 3rd one is good. Ha

This is kinda like remote control! Well, I shouldn’t be the one to tell you what to watch, someone who only steps into the cinema twice a year at most!

I wish I can recommend some great movies to you, but then the last movie I watch in a cinema was Herbie, Fully Loaded and Bridget Jones. Yep! That long ago.

Hi JL! Oops It’s J Lo, I mean Jilo now right?
Now that reminds me of Milo, feel like drinking one now. haha!
When you ask us to recommend a movie, do you mean new movies or can I choose old ones?
I would like you to watch District 9, Final Destination 4, The Proposal, and Departure and please review them in your blog.
I’m not sure if Final Destination 4 falls under horror, cos you said you don’t see horror movies.
I’m afraid both The Proposal and Departure (Japanese movie) are not new movies. Been screened in cinemas for quite some time already.
And pls don’t review any Chinese movies from HK, I hate them!
Too bad you don’t like horror. I have seen one horror movie called “Drag Me To Hell” – at first thought it’s some B grade movie, was surprised the movie turned out to be pretty entertaining! You should watch it even if you dislike horror movies : )
